You would not believe your eyes
If ten million mosquitos
Made lunch of me as I fell asleep

'Cause they'd fill the open air
And leave blood-drops everywhere
You'd think me rude
But I would just stand and... scratch

I'd like to make myself believe
That mosquitos drink nectar really
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay
Awake itching when I would rather be asleep

'Cause I'd get a thousand hugs
From ten thousand biting bugs
As they tried to teach me how to karate

A Hammerhand strike above my head
A Circling kick beneath my bed
My patience is just hanging by a thread

That mosquitos drink nectar slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay
Awake itching when I would rather be asleep
'Cause everything is never as it seems
When I (finally) fall asleep

Leave my door open just a crack

Why do I tire of counting sheep
